In Cameroon, the huge demand for palm oil can only be covered through imports from Asia. To contribute to local production and rural job generation, Energy Crops has established an oil palm plantation in a remote area of Cameroon with the potential to offer income to up to 250 people over time.

The SSF loan helped to buy equipment for the farm work and seedlings.
